  • 01Do we need an AI feature to work with you?

    No. Around half of what we ship has no model anywhere near it. If AI would not improve your outcome, you hear that in discovery.

  • 02Do we need a detailed brief?

    No. An idea, an existing product, or a description of what is causing problems is enough for the first conversation. Working out what has to be decided before development begins is what discovery is for.

  • 03What does “AI-native” actually mean?

    Two things. AI sits inside our delivery — synthesis, scaffolding, test generation, first-pass QA — which is how a small team ships quickly. And it goes into products where it removes real work. It never reviews its own output.

  • 04How much does a project cost?

    It depends on scope, so we say after a short paid discovery rather than guess before it. You get the scope and a fixed price in writing, yours to take elsewhere. Where the product relies on paid platforms or AI services, we identify the running costs too.

  • 05Can you work with our existing developers?

    Yes, and it is common. We join your repo, standards and review process. Embedded exists for exactly this.

  • 06Who owns the code, data and prompts?

    You do, on delivery. Code, infrastructure, prompts, eval sets and docs land in your accounts. No runtime to keep renting, no licence to renew.

  • 07Can you deploy into our own infrastructure?

    Usually — into your cloud, behind your auth. If your setup makes the work materially riskier, we say so in discovery and quote the fix separately.

  • 08Can you take over an existing product?

    Yes, starting with a paid audit rather than a quote — architecture, dependencies, tests, security, cost. You get a written plan and are free to take it elsewhere.

  • 09What do you build with?

    Chosen for the problem, not the résumé — but for the record: Product — Next.js, React, TypeScript, React Native, Expo, Figma. Platform — Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Vercel. AI — OpenAI, Anthropic, LangGraph, MCP, pgvector. Commerce and operations — Stripe, Shopify, n8n. If your existing stack is different, we work in it.

  • 10How do you handle hallucination?

    Grounding first, so answers come from your content rather than model memory. Then an eval suite with a regression gate, then confidence thresholds with human escalation. Retrieval reduces hallucination; it does not eliminate it.

  • 11What happens after launch?

    Thirty days of support on Sprint, ninety on Build. After that Embedded covers monitoring, upgrades, cost governance and an SLA. A system left alone for a year is quietly getting worse.
